B+A founder member, he leads the litigation national and international area, arbitration area, legal advisory and energy projects agreements. Mr. Beristain has developed an extensive clients file that includes many Mexican and foreign companies that invest in important energy projects in Mexico, he has more than 24 years of professional experience, and he currently focuses his main activities to the civil, commercial, criminal and arbitration areas to companies that invest in the Mexican energy industry (natural gas distribution, storage and transportation, electricity generation and co generation).
Education :

Law degree in 1987 at the “Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico” (UNAM), with honors for the elaboration of the thesis “The Diplomatic Asylum in Mexico” and for the professional exam develop.
In 1994, participation at the “Commercial and International Agreements Post grad” held by the “Universidad Iberoamericana” in Mexico City.
In 1990 he attends the “Constitutional Rights Procedure Specialty” at the Mexican Supreme Court.

From 1981 to 1999, legal assistant, associate and member of “de Ibarrola & Associates” in Mexico City, law firm established since 1947.
From 1978 to 1987 legal assistance and clerk of the Federal Labor Court in Mexico.
Actually he also collaborates as professor of postgrade in masters of corporative law at the Universidad Panamericana, in México.
Mr. Beristain represents important energy companies involved in the Mexican energy sector, mainly in the natural gas distribution, storage, transportation and exploration, also in the electricity generation and co generation, bringing legal and real viability and certain to their investment projects in the country.
